A Bold New Branch For PFFCU

12-17-13 027A - resizeCharles Matsinger Associates announces the grand opening of a new credit union branch for the Police and Fire Federal Credit Union.  The branch is located in the Cedarbrook Shopping Center at Cheltenham Avenue and Easton Road in Wyncote, PA.  In an effort to attract business to the center, the landlord subdivided an abandoned box store.

By providing groups of windows along the exterior, significant amounts of daylight illuminate the branch during operating hours, offsetting lighting usage and energy consumption.

The design scheme for the 4,800 SF branch features a signature concave plan teller counter and the PFFCU’s standards for carpets, ceramic flooring, wall coverings, paint and furniture, all developed by CMA for the client.  Constructed in four months,  the branch was on-budget and ready for business ahead of schedule.
