Charles Matsinger Associates would like to congratulate long-standing client Drexel University on receiving the 2013 “Best in the Business” Campus C-Store Award from the National Association of College & University Food Services for their recently added Market 16 & Noodle Bar.
Charles Matsinger Associates had the pleasure of working with Drexel in creating this Globally Inspired Market. In completing this project, our team developed a design that converted 4,500 square feet of existing office space into this award-winning food service establishment. Market 16 & Noodle Bar, Drexel’s newest campus dining location, features a global flavor profile, fresh fruit and vegetables, rice and noodle bowls, a tea bar and sushi bar.
The location at 34th & Market Streets takes advantage of a thriving street corner that includes heavy pedestrian traffic, public transportation access and is located in the first floor of the Drexel Parking Garage (#16 on the Drexel University City Campus Map!). Market 16 & Noodle Bar is the perfect place to have a cup of tea with a colleague or have a noodle bowl with friends.
Rita LaRue, Senior Associate Vice President of Drexel Business Services will accept this award during the 2013 NACUFS Conference in Minneapolis, MN. NACUFS, the National Association of College & University Food Services, supports college and university foodservice industry with the programs and resources, including benchmarking and best practices to educational programming and professional networking.
