Concerned about the impact buildings have on the natural environment and our health? Most clients believe in sustainable design, but their needs and desired levels of sustainability can vary greatly. Charles Matsinger Associates’ Green division provides the resources our clients need to achieve a building they can be proud of whether it’s LEED Platinum, Green Globe Certified or simply incorporates a few key sustainable features.
Under our CMAgreen banner, we continue to strive to meet our mission statement: To create wholesome places to work and live that reflect natural patterns and flows, strengthening bonds between our natural and built environments. We weave sustainability design into our everyday approach to project designs.
Through collaboration, CMAgreen’s design process begins by identifying our clients’ priorities within sustainable building practices. With the knowledge gained, we develop a set of goals to share with the client, and a strategy to meet these. Our objective is to facilitate our clients’ visions for more sustainable work environments.
CMA has several LEED accredited professionals on staff who have current knowledge of evolving sustainable design and building practices. To date, CMA has successfully developed projects incorporating sustainable design ranging in size from a new 4,500 sf credit union branch to a 56,000 sf complete building renovation.
