This renovation allowed for an open plan to inspire collaboration among the company’s R&D, Human
Resources, and Administrative teams. The design fostered a new workplace environment that emphasized productive collaboration between employees. Bright, open work areas included ‘living room’ and ‘kitchen table’ concepts that accommodate informal breakout sessions and discussions. Acoustic concerns in the open environment were addressed to localize sound at each team area. Additionally, an assortment of strategically placed Focus and Team meeting rooms offered breakaway speech and visual privacy for individuals as well as for groups.
