The Family Caregiver Center at HUP was created as a place where family members can get away for a time from the stresses of dealing with a family member in the hospital. There are several different areas: a large living room, a “quiet room” with a massage chair and subdued music, a kitchen for refreshments, computer touchdown spaces and a multipurpose room for meetings or a place for kids to play.

Nature themed elements give it a more earthy, warm feel. A subdued color scheme adds to the sense of quietness in the space. Dimmers allow light levels to be reduced. The wooden ceiling in the main space adds a feeling of warmth and nature to the suite.
